Workshop on Regret, Emotions and Decision Making -
23rd and 24th of March, 2009
Regret is an intelligent (and/or emotional) dislike for personal past acts and behaviors. There are many specific models of regret in economics, finance, psychology, philosophy, etc. In recent years neuroeconomists have brought to the table an understanding of the neurobiological mechanism of regret. Itself a new interdisciplinary field, neuroeconomics builds on the joint work between researchers from different disciplines. The Workshop on Regret will bring together researchers from all the above-mentioned fields with the dual aim of enabling the participants to discuss each other's work as well as to open avenues for future interdisciplinary collaboration.
The workshop will take place at the Center for the Study of Rationality (Monday, March 23) and at Ben-Gurion University (Tuesday, March 24).
