The National Institute for Biotechnology in the Negev (NIBN) has established the NIBN-Industry Club (NIC).
The objective of the NIC is to create a platform for strengthening ties between all the relevant players in the biotechnology area in Israel, namely, academia (NIBN), industry and finance.
Meetings of the NIC will offer the opportunity to hear about the achievements and needs of leading industries and NIBN researchers.
The NIC Kick -off meeting took place in April 2008, additional meetings were held in Spetember 2008 and March 2009.
The latest meeting took place in February 2010. The topic discussed was: "Practical Approaches to Lead Compound Discovery"
