The department is located in the Marcus Campus of BGU (the main university campus) in the Grosman Building (building 58).  Directions to the Marcus Campus:

 By Train:  The easiest, most comfortable way to travel from Tel Aviv or Haifa is by train.  Current schedules can be found at the Israel Railways site.  The North Beer Sheva/BGU station is near the campus and can be accessed by the Mexico Footbridge from the entrance of the station.  After entering the campus gate from the bridge, continue straight to Building 58 (Deichmann building for Mathematics and Grosman Building for Geology).  (See interactive campus map link).

 By Bus:  Egged (*2800 on any phone) and Metropoline (phone *5900) coming from the Tel Aviv stop near the campus.  Get off at the corner of Rager Boulevard and Ben Gurion Boulevard (lower left corner of interactive campus map link).

 By car:

From Tel Aviv:  Route 20 (Ayalon highway) south, transfer to Highway 1 at Kibbutz Galuyot and to Route 4 South towards Ashdod.  At Ashdod junction follow signs to Beer Sheva on road 41 and then right at Route 40, which continues to Beer Sheva.  Enter Beer Sheva via Rager Boulevard to the Marcus Campus entrance (see link to campus access) or to Ben Gurion Boulevard.  The Grosman Building is part of Building 58.

From Haifa:  Route 2 to Gelilot Junction.  Left, then right onto highway 20 (Ayalon).  Continue as in directions from Tel Aviv. 

From Jerusalem:  Route 1 to Latrun Junction.  Exit, then left turn on Route  3.  Continue on Route 3 to Re'em Junction, left turn to Route 40 and continue to Beer Sheva.  Enter Beer Sheva via Rager Boulevard to the Marcus Campus entrance (see link to campus access) or to Ben Gurion Boulevard.  The Grosman Building is part of Building 58.

From Trans-Israel Highway (Route 6):  Take Route 6 south.  Exit at southern end (Soreq Junction).  Go right to Re'em Junction, left turn to Route 40 and continue to Beer Sheva.  Enter Beer Sheva via Rager Boulevard to the Marcus Campus entrance (see link to campus access) or to Ben Gurion Boulevard.  The Grosman Building is part of Building 58.

 Parking:

Invited guests may arrange entrance permit in advance by calling the department office (08 646 1289).  There is a pay parking lot on Ben Gurion Boulevard opposite the Medical School building (see map).
