| The Fourth Annual SIDEER symposium will deal with the evolution of culture. Beyond biological evolution, human beings are running another race in time, that of cultural evolution. Not having to rely on proteins, genes and physiological constraints, culture can disperse faster and more efficiently. We are not only the machines spreading our genes; we are the machines through which memes spread. |
