Abraham Kandel is a Distinguished University Research Professor and Endowed Eminent Scholar in Computer Science and Engineering at the University of South Florida (Chairman 1991-2003) and the Executive Director of the National Institute for Applied Computational Intelligence. Prof. Kandel is a Fellow of: ACM, IEEE, New York Academy of Sciences, AAAS, IFSA, and a member of NAFIPS, IAPR, ASEE, and Sigma-Xi. His main research areas include applied fuzzy logic, computational intelligence, and related fields.
Prof. Mark Last Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel
Mark Last is an Associate Professor at the Department of Information Systems Engineering, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Israel and the Head of the Data Mining and Software Quality Engineering Group. Prof. Last is a Senior Member of the IEEE Computer Society and a Professional Member of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). His main research interests are focused on data mining, cross-lingual text mining, software testing, and security informatics.
