Dr. Natalia Skradol

Dr. Natalia Skradol received her Ph.D. from the Department of Foreign Literatures and Linguistics, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, in 2004. After spending two years in Berlin as a Minerva post-doctoral fellow and half a year at the Bakhtin Center of the University of Sheffield, UK as an AHRC/ESRC/BA Visiting Fellow, Natalia joined the research staff of the Center for German Studies, while simultaneously being enrolled as a post-doctoral fellow at the European Forum at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she has also been teaching M.A. courses.  Natalia’s research focuses on the rhetoric of totalitarianism and the political discourse in Russia and Germany between the two World Wars; she has published numerous articles on the subject and is currently working on a monograph.
